Welcome to Brownsville Area High School
Mrs. Stout was appointed Principal of Brownsville Area High School in July 2018. Mrs. Stout started her career at St. Mary Nativity School in Uniontown teaching First Grade where she worked for 9 years. After the closing of St. Mary's in 2010, she was hired at Brownsville Area School District to teach First Grade at Cardale Elementary School. In 2011, she was moved to the Middle School to teach Language Arts. In addition to teaching Language Arts at the Middle School, she also served as a yearbook advisor, SAP/BEST team member, audiovisual specialist, and webmaster.
Mrs. Stout earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education from California University of Pennsylvania where she also obtained a Master’s Degree in Education and Administrative Leadership.
Mrs. Stout currently resides in Smithfield with her husband and two daughters. She enjoys spending time with her family, taking her girls fishing, and spending time at the lake and their pool.
Mrs. Stout looks forward to working with the staff, students, parents, and the Brownsville community to continue to provide all students with an exceptional education.
